This policy explains what information OOHGuide (oohguide.com) collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. If you have questions, email privacy@oohguide.com.
Information you give us
When you use our forms, we collect what you enter:
- Quote requests: your name, email, and optionally your phone, business name, city or area, format, budget, timing, industry and notes.
- Listing claims from operators: your name, title, company, work email, phone, markets, rates and interest in featured placement.
How we use it
- To match you with operators. When you request quotes, we share your request with up to 3 outdoor advertising companies that serve your market so they can contact you with availability and pricing. That is the purpose of the form, and you choose to submit it.
- To verify and update operator listings when a company claims its listing.
- To reply to you and follow up on your request.
- To improve the site, for example by seeing which pages lead to quote requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your permission.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how people arrive, and general device and location information (at the city or region level). Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
Service providers
We use a few trusted providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf:
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Supabase stores form submissions.
- Resend sends us email notifications about new submissions.
- Google Analytics provides site usage statistics.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of OOHGuide and its users.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions as long as needed to handle your request and run the service, and delete them on request. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you submitted by emailing privacy@oohguide.com.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Depending on where you live (for example California or other US states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights. Email us and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Once we share a quote request with an operator, that operator's own privacy practices apply to how it uses your information. You can ask the operator directly to stop contacting you.
Children
OOHGuide is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
